White snus, nicotine pouches, nico pods; the white dove of the snus world that swept in and took Sweden by storm. Since the released of the first “tobacco” free snus Zyn in 2016, the market around this type of nicotine products have expanded immensely. 
White snus comes in all strength’s, sizes, and flavours, from spearmint and espresso to pina colada and liquorice. Snusbolaget (the largest online retailer for oral tobacco products in Sweden) today cater over 200 different flavours from 28 different brands. These products have been acclaimed for their “lack” of tobacco and are often seen as a better and less dangerous alternative than other tobacco products. 
While little research has been made on this matter, and scientist still unsure of what the side effects to these products are, it has not stopped companies from marketing white snus as the it-thing that ads an extra spark to the everyday. It´s the must-have, the essential and it’s without a doubt nestling it´s way into people’s everyday lives, especially among adolescents and young adults.
